![]() ![]() It was our first cruise and we had a really lovely time. I took a 5-day Eastern Caribbean (the Bahamas, Princess Cay, and Grand Turk) Christmas cruise with my two of my adult sons (19 & 21) and my teenage daughter. You lost a customer qnd I will share this to the day i die with as many as possible when considering carnival. I know you weee hit hard from covid but my gosh, shame on you Carnival. ![]() The staff is so tired from being worked around the clock literally like they're zoo animals in a circus carnival. Entertainment was great, crowds got along well surprisingly. Are you dumping in the oceans again? Or is it all backing up all the time. As we're being kicked off early they had people lined up to board. They're running the ship like a dry cleaners. Then the complaints from other cruisers oj board about the scalding water coming out of all sink faucets. And this was in the spa bec after only one of us in my cabin showered the water was up to here ankles and flooding the bathroom. I don't even want to know what I washed in. I think it's recycled water sure smells like it, Sulphur smell, at the same time over softenated water to cover up made my hair from roots 6 inches down. I couldn't even enjoy the port after being so violated on the ship by security. I had to walk around with my $700 purse with our passports, cash, cards and rest of medicine. I was on edge the entire cruise that they clearly knew what cabin I was in and can access my safe given they're security. My Ole Plex hair products were dumped everywhere including filling up one of my medicines with it. ![]() Then they stole one prescription bottle of mine then another they just left me a few to get through the cruise. They broke my new london fog suitcase searching for it. First one of my bags went missing, my Dyson blow dryer set it off. I was so excited to go back on the fun ship after 10 yrs. Horrible experience, security stole from us I didn't want a refund, just a later date to travel when we were medically cleared to travel. I'm so disappointed in how Carnival supports COVID patience. Not only do we lose our money, but we also missed out on sharing this experience with our children and each other. This may not be a lot for most, but it was a lot for our family. I was completely unaware that I would be charged a penalty of over 90% of what I paid because we were positive. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip, not really knowing what our options were and still processing the fact that I have COVID-19. I called Carnival and shared our bad news. However, after 3 years of not catching COVID-19, we all tested positive for COVID-19 for the first time 1 week before our trip. As a woman in her mid-forties, this was going to be my first experience as well. We purchased our first family cruise through Carnival and we were so excited to finally afford our children an opportunity to experience a cruise. SAD! THEY WILL NOT MAKE IT IN THE ARMED FORCES!. SHAME ON THEM! I THOUGHT NORWEGIAN WAS BAD, BUT THIS PEOPLE ARE WORST AND THEIR SUPERVISORS ARE AS BRAIN WASH AS THE TIMESHARE SUPERVISOR AND DO NOT THINK ON THEIR OWN OR CAN MAKE DECISIONS ON THEIR OWN. THEY MAKE THE RULES AS THEY GO AND LIE LEFT TO RIGHT. AROUND 3 WEEKS AGO I TAVEL EITH THEM ON THE CELEBRATION AND WE PAY $65 PER PERSON, BECAUSE WE BOOKED 3 DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE, SINCE THE SHIP WAS FULL, BUT HAD A CANCELATION AT THE LAST MINUTE. I WONDER IF THEY INSURANCE COMMISIONER IN FLORIDA IS AWARE OF THEIR TACTICS. ON TOP OF ALL THIS, THEY CHARGE THE TRAVEL INSURANCE ACCORDING TO THE PRICE YOU PAY, BUT YET A PERSON THAT PAY A $100 LESS AS MY SISTER IN LAW, THEY CHARGED HER $49 AND UD $95 PER PERSON. ANY DISCOUNT THEY GIVE SENIOR AND VETERANS IS A TAX DEDUCTION AT THE END OF THE YEAR, IF THEY HAVE A GOOD ACCOUNTANT. INSTEAD THEY TREAT US LIKE DUMMIES AND CHARGED MORE. IF THIS THE WAY THE EXPECT PEOPLE TO CONTINUE TRAVELING, THEY SHOULD ACCOMODATE US ON WHAT EE NEED, SPECIALLY FOR US BEING SENIOR AND BOTH DISABLED AND ME A 100% DISABLE VETERAN. I TRY TO SWITCH A ROOM FOR ONE THAT WAS THE SAME PRICE, BUT THEY CHARGE $30 PER PERSON TO DO IT AND I AM JUST GETTING A REGULAR ROOM INSIDE, NO BALCONY OR PORT WINDOWS, BUT YET THEY CHARGE FOR SWITCHING. THEY ARE JUST AS BAD AS THE TIMESHARE SALESMEN. I DID NOT GET TO HAVE 3 DEGREES IN COLLEGE BY BEING A DUMMY. SAME TACTICS AS CAR SALESMEN OR DEALERSHIPS. THEY SAY THEY HAVE MILITARY DISCOUNT AND SENIOR DISCOUNT, BUT WHEN YOU ASK FOR IT, THE SAY THEIR OFFER IS CHEAPER, BUT THEY NEVER TELL YOU WHAT THE MILITARY RATE WAS OR THE SENIOR RATE, SO THEY LIE. THEY SAY THEY HONOR THE VETERANS, BUT THEIR WORDS ARE EMPTY AND THEY DO NOT MEAN IT. ![]() CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE TRY TO TREAT YOU AS A DUMMY AND AS A SENIOR AND A DISABLE VETERAN I WOULD NOT TOLERATE THAT. ![]()
